Business Case
Company had some SharePoint portals supporting their day to day business processes. Due to a lack of documentation, supporting and maintaining these portals proved to be difficult for the company. They approached GIobal Infonet (GI) to help provide solutions for their business needs.
Solution: Microsoft SharePoint
GI studied the current SharePoint implementation and provided a consolidated architectural documentation for the company’s portals on SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint 2003 and also provided code documentation for the CFO Portal. This solution helped the client’s IT staff to support and work independently on further enhancements of these portals. GI also provided a detailed recommendation and documentation on Upgrade to SharePoint 2013. This included the process to be followed for upgrade that will have minimal impact on the current work process. The solution recommendation also highlighted the benefits that the client will reap from the upgrade.
