Yes! Jacksonville is ready to host yet another technology event tomorrow at Prime Osborn Convention Center tomorrow, 17th August 2016. The organizers say it could be a pivotal event for the local industry.
Over 750 people have already registered for the Tech Coast Conference Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Prime Osborn Convention Center downtown. There are 18 speakers set to address the tech industry participants with over 40 industry companies with vendor booths and 14 sponsors are lined up to support the event that is designed to serve as a forum for technology-related issues on the First Coast.
Rahul Ravindran, CTO of Global Infonet Inc. is one of the proud speakers for the event and will be discussing on “Next Generation Development with the Microsoft Cloud”. See the list of other speakers
The event was first organized by the JAX Chamber Information Technology Council in 2014 and had over 400 participants then. Mike Nolan, president of that council, said there were about 600 participants in 2015 and by the time the event takes place Wednesday, there could be double the amount of the original event.
“Part of the mission of the Information Technology Council is to create a forum where IT professionals can create and develop partnerships and exchange ideas,” said Nolan who is also the Vice President at Global Infonet Inc., a software development firm in Jacksonville.
